Every year me and my friends head up to Mt. Tremblant for our annual ski weekend. In previous years the burn from the skiing the first day puts a major damper in the length of time we could ski the second day. I remembered back to a year when I was training for a half marathon, and went for a run after skiing all day, and I recalled how it helped my legs feel great for day number two. I thought I would give this a try this time as well. It turned out that it worked and I felt great.
I didn’t manage to squeeze in my long run on Sunday as I hoped for, we had to get going on the road for the 8 hour drive home.
Will have to get back on the training program this coming week.
