Today was a great day for working out. It wasn't that I did a huge amount, it was great since I got to take my son out with me and keep my heart rate in the right zone for most of the bike ride. We did a 20km ride in just under an hour.
I'm also happy that I managed to get out for a second workout, late, with a couple of my neighbors. Yes it was a short, very slow jog, but I think that is exactly what the doctor ordered for now early in my comeback. I kept my HR down in about the right zone for the moment also which is great.
So there it is, my first double workout of the year is in the books.
